Methodology

The primary purpose of this project would be the process of getting WVD up and running so you can explore and see how this new product can benefit your environment.
There will also be several initial configurations to complete. This project shall not be a small implementation but will need an extremely high level designing and will be time consuming to execute.

Access-Rights and Initial Setup and Project Kick-off

Requirement Detailing –
The intent of this phase is to capture the business expectations and criticality landscaping of the Windows domain. Also, specific migration design pre-requisites, special management considerations are captured.

Deployment approach and Plan definition –
The intent of this phase is to define the migration approach for the line-of-business applications and the services.
The migration approach definition would be based on the business expectations mapped to the existing technology environment in place and will be deployed remotely in terms of configuration.
As part of the migration approach definition phase, the pre-requisites for pilot and testing would also be identified and this can act as a staging environment before the migration rollout.

Deployment Pilot –
The intent of this phase is to validate the migration approach and plan defined. This phase along with the migration plan definition phase would ensure that approach addresses all requirements satisfactorily and identifies and develops mitigation for possible risks envisaged.

Stabilizing
The intent of this phase would be to demonstrate a stabilized environment post the migration. Documentation and knowledge transfer to client’s internal staff would be undertaken during this phase.

Project SIGN-OFF
Complementary support for 90 days will be provided on the products and services deployed as a part of the project. Post which support will attract additional cost. Support is subject to errors and troubleshooting in the solutions deployed. Any new deployment of a solution will be considered as a change request.
